Zodiac Killer Bank Robbery Handwriting Analysis

There was a bank robbery before the first Zodiac murders in 1968, on December 3, 1968 in San Francisco there was a bank robbery in which a ransom note was given with the following information:

Now, this was never confirmed to be the Zodiac Killer, but in 1970 the FBI was requested to do a hand writing analysis of this note to compare to the Zodiac Letters and seems to have been inconclusive.

Interestingly I was looking at it in depth and noticed that if you look at the original bank robbery note the signature of the Zodiac has a distinctive dot over the “A” in which it is supposed to go over the “I”.

The Zodiac Killer wrote “Zodiac” in much the same way in other letters in which I will share below:

Bank Robbery “ZODIAC”
Zodiac Nov 9 Letter
April 20 Letter
LA TIMES LETTER

Notice how the dot of the I is over the A in these cases matching the style of the original bank robbery note.

This is an interesting remark. I think here are other similarities (spacing especially).
