The Zodiac Killer Is Joseph Paul Franklin: The Name Evidence
Today I will focus on just some of the evidence that Joseph Paul Frankin is the Zodiac Killer and specifically focus on just the name. I have a lot of evidence that Joseph Paul Franklin is the Zodiac Killer but the other evidence will come in later.
First, who is Joseph Paul Franklin? Franklin was born James Vaughn Jr in Alabama in the 1950’s, by the time the Zodiac Killer was around this would have placed him at an early age about 18 years old when he committed his first murders. According to a jailhouse interview though he admitted to thinking about killing around the age of 17 though. During this time of his life he was a “drifter” and not much is know about his wherabouts but lets focus on the name evidence.
To start off with, the Zodiac at one point said “FK, I”m crackproof” and many have assumed that this the initials of the Zodiac Killer. I believe at this time as James Vaughn was very much into white supremacy and Nazi beliefs he may have taken up a new name for himself and I believe he took the name Joseph Paul Franklin at a much earlier age than was previously known. According to most accounts he didn’t start killing until the late 70’s however, I believe he started killing at a much earlier age.
The Z13 And My Name Is Letter
Lets look at the Z13 sent on April 20, 1970. As you can see if you take a look at the coded message this is 13 characters. Franklins original name James Vaughn Jr is 13 characters as well. This is not the only clue that it was Franklin though.
The Stamps
Most of the stamps of the Zodiac Killer have “Franklin” on them. Of course the stamps are of Franklin Roosevelt but at one point in one of his letters the Zodiac asks “ How much is on my head now?” in which the stamp was of course “Franklin”.
Scotch Tape Letter
Look up something called the “Scotch Tape Letter” from the Zodiac, it was an uncomfirmed letter I don’t think they ever authenticated it, but he said his name was on the tape, and the name “Paul” was on the roll of tape.
Halloween Card Symbol
On the Halloween Card you see this stange almost runic looking symbol there in which I must say may stand for the initials “JPF” with the four dots being/standing for “Paul” and of course the final initial looks like the “F”.
18 Unsolved Characters from the Z408
Originally I thought that the unsolved characters from the Z408 could mean Joseph Paul Franklin and I did spend many hours trying to decipher this using known and practical deciphering methods, however, I was unable to do so, but I do find it a curiosity that Joseph Paul Franklin does equal 18 characters could this be the solution to the final Z408 undeciphered messages?

Pleas have a look at my solution to the Z13 if you get a chance. The My Name Is letter was mailed on April 20, which is Hitlers birthday and I have a way of deciphering it to James Vaughn Jr there.
A Note On The Zodiac Symbol
The Zodiac Symbol is a well known Nazi symbol used by many Neo Nazis and white supremacists, and it is not a far off theory that there was a group or nazi connection to the Zodiac Killings.
Unconfirmed letters reveal a racial component to it, but these are unconfirmed though, but if the Zodiac was indeed Franklin we have to look at those with new eyes.
